I have a 6 month old dell desktop and recently found out that something is wrong with the microphone. I deleted and reinstalled the audio driver, but that only made it worse, now the headphone jack doesn't work either. Before I reinstalled the driver, at least the microphone and headphone would be recognized, now nothing happens at all when I plug headphones in. The reinstallation did not completely work by the way, it said error at the end. I don't know what went wrong, I reinstalled the same driver as before. Anyone know what's going on here? Let me know if you need more information.
