while charging white light glow but how to know that the battery is fully charged without opening the laptop, the light will glow after fully charged or not

maybe it doesn't have such (tech) to indicate . i didn't have one in my dell latitude i5 but light turns off after full charge in my recent inspiron 5559 i7.
i think it wont have any damage on battery. you just need to consider the time it takes to charge your laptop if u are worried.
