DELL Intel(R)Pentium(R)4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.99GHz

Hi. I recently formatted my dell Desktop computer Intel(r) Pentium(r) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.99GHz and the computer lost all sound. I have tried in vain to reinstall SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio. It is nowhere in Device Manager. This is an on-board sound card. I suspect that I need to upgrade the motherboard drivers (but I really Do Not know what to do). I have tried reinstalling dell sound drivers from CD But still no help and I have reformatted the Disk C more than five times. I am running xp sp3 pro. Please help.

I would download the drivers from Dell on there website. Enter your service tag or use their service tag reader. Then try installing those.

Ya DELL Intel(R)Pentium(R)4 CPU 3.00GHz 2.99GHz is a worst processor .It lags my pc and it does not work properly . PeterMukiiri i have alos same like your processor .Same like yours in my pc also sound griver doesnot works .But i tried a lot and i insert ASRocK intel driver

I think this processor does not work in counterstrike 1.6/warzone which processor i should use plz help me .... i shows 50 to 60 fps when playing counterstrike
