Dell laptop won't shutdown after Windows 10 upgrade.

I upgraded my Dell Inspiron from Windows 7 to Windows 10. After that, the laptop wouldn't shut down - just a spinning wheel. I rolled back to Windows 7. Now the laptop shuts down, but then it immediately reboots. Need to figure out how to get it to shut down. Thanks for your help!

well if you have tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds etc i would just go ahead and take that battery out but then you can risk messing stuff up as it may be writing something to the hard drive
