Before I leave the office I power down my laptop via the start menu>Shutdown. Every morning when I come in to the office I see my computer at the windows start up repair screen asking if I want to restore. If I power cycle the computer and start it up and select start normally the computer boots up fine. I have browsed the forums and checked a variety of things but havent come up with much. I have checked the following things:
1. Wake on lan setting is off in bios
2. Nic adapters in the device management do not have the ability to wake this device
3. Changed What the buttons do in the power settings to ensure the power button shuts the computer down.
4. Changed windows update to no do updates over night
5. Checked scheduled task
I am out of Ideas on what to check that could be causing this. Any help is appreciated.
