I want to know about the maximum cpu upgrade for my laptop. Thanks in advance
Currently running in
2X2GB of DDR2 ram
Intel core 2 duo T7250 2.0GHz
500 GB Seagate HDD
Windows 10 pro 32 bit
I need to upgrade my CPU with the socket P(478)
The current chipset is Intel gm45

Can you even remove your current cpu? I ask this because laptop cpus are seldom easily replaced and there 2 versions of that chip, a PGA(upgradeable) and a BGA(can't be replaced).

Regardless of which version, you will get more performance from replacing your HDD with a SSD, than you would trying to replace the actual cpu.
https://ark.intel.com/products/32284/Intel-82GME965-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller, CLICK THE COMPATIBLE PRODUCTS TAB(the cpus above yours on the list would be 'upgrades')
^Lists the possible upgrades... but even then, compatibility also depends on your motherboard's current bios.

@jojesa: Wrong socket, mate. It's for mobile, not desktop.
