Hello.
I have a Dell Latitude E7470 which I have recently put an Adata XPG8200 ssd drive into, using the M2 slot.
Whilst the drive is pretty fast, it is only running at 850mb read / write.
Having checked on HWINFO, the drive is connected to PCI Express Root Port #9.
The stats for PCI Express, state that the Maximum Link Width is 2x , with the Current Link Width being 1x.
Does anyone know why I might only be getting 1x instead of 2x, which would give me around 1500mb read/write.
Could it be down to a driver issue or motherboard limitation, although I have seen other users getting the 2x speed, but they make no reference to any drivers that may be required.
Thanks in advance.
