Dell latitude sound drivers

Hello,is there any sound drivers for dell latitude d420,im tired of seaching

If you haven't yet, go to the Dell site ( http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=NN9X1&FileId=2940571307&productCode=latitude-d420&urlProductCode=False will get you part way there ) and find the driver. I found one: a Sigmatel driver from 2007.

If, on the other hand, the system came with one OS and you have installed a later OS, there may not be drivers, period. I've seen a few messages from folks who installed Win7 on machines that came with XP or ME (really), and could not find Win7 drivers. The manufacturers simply aren't supporting the older devices anymore.
