I just purchased a new [to us] Dell M4700 PC laptop. It's not here, yet, but I do know that it will come with the dedicated AMD FirePro M4000 Mobility Pro GPU option. It's a long boring story, but, based on actual experience with AMD GPUs, I would really like to either replace the AMD GPU that's presently in this machine with one of the NVIDIA Quadro KXXXM GPUs that made the graphics "switchable" or, if possible, remove the AMD GPU and turn "ON" the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU that came on the core-i7 CPU.
If, for whatever reason, it's not possible to make the graphics system switchable - employing one of the NVIDIA graphics GPUs - I'd appreciate the Dell laptop folks' thoughts on any possible alternatives?
Thank you kindly for your help.
