Hello guys. Need your help in this one.

So, I have a dell m6800, I want to upgrade it to GTX 980m from Quadro K4100m.

I already bought the 980 mxm card from ebay, the gpu it seems was from a clevo laptop. Issue is that the heatsink screws don't match with the 980m's screw holes.

Just a note the card fits perfectly in the laptop but the heatsink screws are big so it cannot screw into the mxm card.

Can anyone suggest me how to proceed with it now?

Do I need to buy a different heatsink, also will the heatsink be compatible with dell m6800 ?

These might be worth your time;

Those should lead you to this part;
https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=19992
which is out of stock. You could look around Ebay with the part number; K6D33

Good luck!
:)
Thanks for the reply.
Apparently, my laptop itself has that part number.

The solution I found is that we need to remove the x bracket which is behind the Quadro K4100m and put that in GTX 980m. Only issue is how do we remove the x bracket?
