Definitely good news, but I will still wait for the tuner and a version of Windows that isn't 8 years old.

Who cares about the OS. You can put any OS on there if you want. My problem is that it's still locked to that garbage Intel graphics chipset.

Me=happy!
Though nothing beats glossy screens!
In worst case scenario I can use it outside, and let the sun shine in my monitor to see what I'm doing without using backlight.
Something you can't do with a matte screen.

Its a big step in the right direction but the current gma 500 and 1gig of ram is a big nono but hopefully other manufactures will follow suit and some upgrades from dell might happen too. Personally don't care about TV or gps.
