I want to go for a decent 24inch monitor. i live in india and the best i could findout is the Dell s2440l . Now is this monitor good for gaming and watching movies, as i will be playing games at high frame rates. I suppose the other version Ultrasharp is meant for office work! Can i play games on these monitors without lags and ghosting.

Go for the 24 inch one only if you are looking to game at 1080p .If you want to play games at higher resolutions then get the 27inch version if you have a graphics card upto the task.Aoc have some cheap 3d monitors .Go for Asus its generally very good though Benq isn't bad its just it doesn't win many awards or doesn't get the media coverage.

Yeah that monitor is great .I own the 22 inch version ,you don't have to worry about lag in it but there is supposedly some inverse ghosting though i didn't notice anything like that.
See this review ,it applies to the whole series and then decide.Personally i don't think it matters.

Should i go for the 3d version for few extra bucks. The asus 24inch models seem promising but expensive. Will i get the same 3d effects as on a television set. I fould out AOC, Asus and Benq have some good models. Will a 24inch be sufficient or should i go for a 27 inch monitor?.
