Hello, I have a question about this pc. I have Dell Optiplex 3040 SFF that my family don't use and then I have my personal PC which is quite old. I was thinking if I could take some components - RAM, CPU, MB from the Dell PC and put it in my personal case. I know the Dell case is limited in case of upgradeability because of its size so if I could fit it in my personal case I could use my old GPU - GTX 660ti + HDD + PSU. And here is the question. Would the motherboard support the 660ti card? or there would be some kind of bottleneck ? The Dell pc is some kind of a business pc so I hope there is not some kind of limitation. I don't want to overclock it I just want to upgrade my old pc with better CPU.

Solution
It looks like Dell decided to build the front I/O onto the MB with that system, and it uses a proprietary 8 pin MB connector to replace the 24 pin ATX cable. There are adapter for that connector. But without knowing what your other system is RAM and CPU questions are hard to answer. Front power switch wirng etc. will be Dell proprietary also. Generally not a good idea.
They don't list a PCIe slot power limit in the manual. But if there is one it will be stenciled on the MB by the GPU slot.
