Dell Optiplex 380 Cannot Find Wifi

Hello all,

I just purchased a Dell Optiplex 380 with Windows Vista installed for use as my garage computer (to look up steps on how to repair vehicles, etc.)

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect this thing to wifi. My wireless connection is strong as I am currently typing this message on my laptop.

Do I need an external wifi card for this machine?

I know next to nothing about computers so whatever help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian,

Could you please check if wireless card is installed in your system. You can go to device manager and check under networks to see if card is showing up.

Thanks for the responses guys, I went out and bought a wifi card that plugs into the USB port and now all is well!
