[SOLVED] Dell Optiplex 7010 Desktop Wire that I can't unplug

Im trying to switch to a bigger case in order to fit a graphics card but I can't unplug this wire that's connected from the motherboard to the outside of the case. Any help?

I know it's probably a simple answer but I just can't see it

There are tabs on the side that you have to push in....and then it goes through the hole.

It may be hard to get through hole even with the tabs pushed in.

They can be very tight.

The only other thing I could imagine....was if they connected the wires after...in which case you may have to disconnect the wires.

Wait, sorry but the tabs are on which part, the motherboard connection or the outer bit?

The outer bit.

It's tough for me to see in the pic...but may times that fixture has tabs on the side you have to press in....then it goes through the hole. Although I may be mistaken.

Another option....if you don't care about the old case...use a dremel tool and cutoff wheel and get it out that way.

You're welcome.
It may be some sort of semi permanent install.
You would find that more with prebuilt proprietary machines.
....and sometimes you might have to go the "saw' route.
