Hi all!
I have Asus r7 250 1gb gddr5 graphics card with intel core2 quad q9550(4x2.83ghz), 4gb of ddr2 800mhz ram, 2x 250gb hdd(seagate barracude) and 305W Psu.(i know it is enough for my specs).
I have fps lags in call of duty 4 singleplayer(and all other cod games), if i start to play i have only 20 to 40 fps outdoor. I think this card could handle this game. i tried in 1080p everything on max, antialiasing off, vsync off) If i tried on 640x 480 and everything on low I got 24 to 50fps. I tested my whole pc, everything is fine, I have the latest graphics card driver and the latest bios update. I tried everything, please help me. :)

It sounds like the game is extremely CPU limited. If so, that would indicate the old quad core can't keep up. Run an app that indicates CPU and GPU usage while gaming. If the CPU is at or near 100% usage while the GPU is not, it is the bottleneck.

I understand you but dont know what kind of app do you think, i tried now google sketchup and playing assassins creed 4, graphics card load was 85% cpu: cpu1:99%
cpu2:40-50%
cpu3:30-40%
cpu4:40:50%

With HWInfo I tried it yesterday. So you think that the cpu is bottlenecking the graphics card? I dont get it because for that game(call of duty4) a dual-core cpu is enough not even quad core
