Dell optiplex 755 Tower PSU upgrade

So, i have a dell optiplex 755 tower and i want to upgrade the power supply to a corsair cx500 and i was wondering if it would actually fit into the system can anyone confirm that it will fit or a suggestion of something that will fit into it.

It looks like your case uses a standard ATX psu.
The CX5000 is 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) x 5.5"(L)

Hello... http://www.silverstonetek.com/techtalk_cont.php?tid=10055&area= it's all about finding the right size and mounting hole dimensions, when it comes to Dell, Gateway, Acer, etc... ATX is the defacto in availability with Custom cases and builders, but some brand names like to throw a wrench into the options of the Upgrader... get a ruler out and measure in MM 's, The outside and hole mountings, so we can be sure to give you good advice.
And post a picture too, is also very helpful.

Open your Optiplex, and take measurements of the PSU (and how bigger you can go). Then go to BestBuy / Fry's / Microcenter, and measure the PSU there (or rely on specs).
