Dell optiplex 790 RAM compatible with aftermarket motherboard?

Hi guys and gals,

I have the opportunity to get 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 RAM for a good price. The only problem is it came out of a Dell Optiplex 790. I am wondering if it would be compatible with a standard aftermarket motherboard?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well....here are the specs....I don't see anything out of the ordinary....so that tends to support the idea that it would work.
