i have dell optiplex 9010 Mini tower which has 16gb ram , 750 watt corsair powersupply and amd r9 270 graphic card . i want to upgrade my graphic card to rtx 2060. rtx 2060 requires pcie 3.0 i want to know that does optiplex 9010 mt has pcie 3.0 slot . previously buying r9 270 i was not bothered about pcie 3.0 but rtx 2060 is a bit expensive card so i want to know that will it run to its full potential kindly guide me in this ? any one can increase my knowledge with user manual as well

It doesnt matter if it is 2.0 or 3.0, only videocard that would be limited by 2.0 would be 2080 ti, 2060 is far from saturating the pcie 2.0 bandwidth. You can use without any trouble the 2060 on your motehrbaord, i would be more worried about the bios, dell and hp are notorious for not supporting some videocards because of their bios.
i have read some where that pcie 2.0 per cycle or lane(x1) transfers 500mb/s means 2.0 has 16 cycles(x16) means it can transfer 8 gb/s and 3.0 can one cycle (1x) transfer 1gb/s and 16x it can 16 gb/s so it has huge difference on frames. you said bios problem i was running amd r9 270 so may be new card will not be a problem for that

It might be 3.0.
Now I'm a bit confused.
On page 15 here it looks like there are different versions of that computer maybe?
https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_9010_technical_guidebook.pdf
Regardless......even if it was 2.0 I'd get it.
I'm running a GTX 1080 on 2.0 right now no problem.
bro on page 15 list says MT(mini tower) has pcie(x16) slot and reference no 2 under that list says support revison 3.0 . i am also confused as you are . kindly read link below on page 56 it says gen 2 and gen3(x16)

FOR A RTX 2060 IT DOESNT MATTER. 16x 2.0 would be equivelent of 8x 3.0, so read this article, https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2488-pci-e-3-x8-vs-x16-performance-impact-on-gpus . IT DOES NOT MATTER.
ok i got your point by reading this blog very less difference with fps but i wanted to know about my hardware as well can you read user manual of optiplex 9010 mini tower and give a openion weather it is pcie 3.0 or not you can open links above comments

and i watched this video as well it shows 5 to 10 frames difference of 2.0 and 3.0
