Hey I wanted to know if dell optiplex 9020 is good for gaming
Specs- i7 4770
8gb ram
AMD 8750 1gb graphics
I think q87 chipset motherboard
500gb 7200rpm hdd

For the same budget im able to assemble
I7 4770k and corsair a50 air cooler
8gb corsair vengeance
Asus z87k series mobo
Corsair Gs 600
2tb western digi green
N then the optical drive wireless mouse n keyboard wlan PCI card

I was thinking of installing a graphic card at a later date when the intel 4600 is not sufficient to play games at all.

Also the dell is a small form factor so was wondering if i can add an extra hdd n a WLAN card
please advice on system i should buy
Thanks in advance :)

Both Systems are really designed to edit and photoshop, not gaming. And your plan to install a separate GPU would not work because DELL, HP, ACER ETC make there cases work for specific components. Which means the GPU will not fit...

Personally, when it comes to gaming. Building a PC is a lot better. With that budget you could make a excellent PC. Hopefully I've helped you a bit :)

Definitely agree. With the markups that Gateway, Dell, Acer, etc charge you can build a far better system and save money in the long run. The biggest problem with pre-builts is that they have an extremely limited shelf life because they are made for the specific case and not standard ATX, mATX, or mITX form factors so your choices of upgrading are really limited.
