Question Dell optiplex 9020 sata power

Hello, i have PC Dell optiplex 9020 and it has only one sata power for HDD/SSD and problem is that, im about to install the HDD with SSD, can i use sata power splitter? Or is sata power dangerous as molex to sata? Should i use expensive sata power splitter?

History has taught people on the forums that splitters are a good thing to get people to think their out of a bind. In essence people come to realize you shouldn't be working with a splitter, especially when it comes to power.

There are a number of form factors for the OptiPlex you've mentioned above. Which Dell OptiPlex 9020 do you have?
