I have a Dell Optiplex 990. It was working perfect until I came home from class. The computer turns on but only shows the numbers 2 and 4 on the computer box. I get no display. I have tried to find a solution by disconnecting all cables connected to the computer. I have tested my monitors and it works perfectly with other computers not this one. Please help

NOTE: I know nothing about computers and when I contacted Dell, they said I have to reseat a graphic card and all data cables. I have no clue on what that is. I’m just a simple computer user.

Please contact me via IG so that I can Send you clear visuals of the situation.

Also state the purpose of your PC, meaning light gaming, or just home office, meaning browsing internet and similar, and lastly, which screen you have, is it Dell or something else. If you can provide screen model that would be extremely helpful - I need to know what video connector you have.
You might have to purchase simple video card. But first I need your service Tag.

I don't know what that is I only know how to turn on the computer.

OK. Next question. Please PM me your PC service tag number. It is not suppose to be posted in open Forum. This will help me to see your original configuration (I will post your specs in Forum). Service Tag is located on the Dell sticker, could be on the bottom of case or back panel, usually short 6-8 digits, letters and numbers.
