What is the difference between:
Dell Optiplex i7 5000 or i7 7000?
Is the worth 7000 worth the extra money?

Both have:
12th gen 16gb ddr4
SSD 512gb class 35
Intel integrated graphics card
Windows 11 pro
3 yr on site tech support

I'd contact that vendor by phone or email and ask.

No obvious difference as you note.

Looking at the Dell web site in USA, both the 5000t and 7000t can be configured in many different ways, so it's hard to say where the differences.....if any....may lie.

Off the top of my head, I'm tempted to think one is a mistake....or maybe they are identical but only 1 is on sale?

Mostly Zoom meetings, web surfing, word processing, but also there's a chance I might decide to record music (hobby) and play games and use photoshop.

As long as somewhere down the road, you do not try to put a real GPU in it.

Probably either will work for that usage.

Looks like the diff is in the wifi not sure that's worth 200 bucks.
