Hello. I'm going to replace my old monitor and now i'm choosing between these 3 ones (without PWM) or to take a look at ASUS? My budget is around 300$. i'm doing 70% gaming/browsing, 10% working with ANSYS/Solid works, 20%-working with photoshop. Which one will be the best choice for my needs (i'm really tired of reading opposite reviews :) )? thank you in advance.

Both are great choices. I'd choose the Dell cuz they are both fast for gaming but the Dell is a IPS screen whereas the BenQ is AMVA. IPS seems to have the best viewing experience. Also, my experience with Dell monitors has been positive. I have a 5 year old monitor that looks just as good as day 1.

and what about the screen resolution? my PC is connected to a TV 1920x1080 and some monitors have 1920x1200. Will there be some screen mismatching (picture goes beyond the tv frame) while playing games due to the resolution difference?

When you launch most games it will open in the main window, which I assume is your new monitor. You set the settings in the game or in the AMD or Nvidia program. If you use a main monitor for all your computer work but want to play your game on a different monitor then you might have to change which monitor/tv is your main one. However, it is safe to say the new monitor will be your gaming monitor. You can do so if that is your main one. And if you want to watch movies just drag the movie to the other screen. Really easy. I do it all the time with my monitors. That help?

i use duplicate screen mode, because i mainly play on TV now. My current monitor is 1680x1050 and it does not match my TV at all. I tried using scaling in Nvidia driver but it does not help - desktop looks not as it shold be. it means i can not manage 2 monitors with different resolutions at the same time. That's why i'm asking whether in this case the proper solution is to use both 1920x1080? and i've an issue with horizontal transparent stripes while turning around in games? how to solve it? Vertical sync does not help well.

First off, I would not suggest gaming on a tv. It will be slow and have bad lag. Monitors geared towards gaming are much smoother. With that said, I'd suggest investing the Nvidia Control Panel. If you set the right resolutions then check your in game settings to make sure they are set correctly too. Are you still planning on gaming on the tv or are you going to move over to your new monitor for that?

i'm using tv for such games like GTA 5,mortal kombat x and witcher 3 in neares future. They do not demand small lags. For shooters like BF4 it is vital to use monitor :) i've examined nvidia control panel from top to bottom and it did not help me. As for gaming monitor (TN+film) i'm not going to buuy them because gaming is not my business. That's why i need overall good monitor without PWM suitable for gaming and photo editing, but for some games i will also use my TV
