Dell p2417h good monitor?

Hi guys, i need a new monitor and i was looking at this monitor. Dell P2417H is this a good monitor? cant find any review of it. i would use it for gaming but not competitive gaming so the response time isnt bad for me

Seems to be relatively new. Not very many other IPS options in that size/price range.

Older model was likely the U2417H, same basic stats and stand. Might have an additional Mini DP connection.

For what it is, maybe.

It is quite expensive for a 23.8" monitor, but is IPS. 6ms response time is slower than the rule of thumb for gaming. But no information on input lag or other 'gaming' features.

It probably has good color reproduction. But that is really only useful for something like graphics or print work.

And it has a decent stand.

If I were to guess, I would say the U2417H has smaller bezels and pretty much all the same features for $5 more.

For about $110 you can get a 23.8" IPS panel, only HDMI and VGA, and the stand is pretty much fixed, but if you just need a screen:
