Dell Precision 5510 upgradibility

Hi guys, quick questions regarding upgrades to the Precision 5510, as they are not available on the Dell website:

* 2 sticks of 8GB SO-DIMM ECC memory?
* A 1TB SSD as second drive?

Is this possible if i buy these items by myself? Don't know how upgradable the Precision 5510 is or even if these components are compatible with the computer. Last laptop i had is an impossible to upgrade MBP

Yes those upgrades are possible and yes you can always just buy those parts yourself.

For your RAM you need : 8GB DDR4 2133MHz

And for your 2nd drive: M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State drive

Although, I always thought it was the other way around for the hard drive: Use a M.2 for Windows and programs and buy the 2.5 SSD for data. I think I've seen some with up to 1TB of data available.
