Dell precision 690 Motherboard

Hello,

I have a dell precision 690 with a fried motherboard. the fried motherboard is revision F9394. Could i replace this with a never MY171 motherboard? If so can i just swap it out, or are other updates necessary? Thanks in advance.

I would register and post your question in the dell forum. It should be possible, but you need to verify cpu compatability first.
