Hi all, i'm new here for some help.... My Dell precision 7510 - i7 6820hq, gpu AMD Firepro w5170m, 8gb RAM keeps freezing randomly once in few days. It just stops responding - screen stays in place it freezed, mouse suddenly stop responding, no touchpad or keyboard input...just keyboard backlight switch on while pressing key. Only solution is hard reset . Mostly i noticed it is doing in photoshop, sometimes in autocad, freezed once while trying to open netflix in browser but It never did while playing 3D game (maybe because im not playing much). Laptop otherwise working fine, sometimes it takes a bit longer while waking up from sleeping mode but nothing serious. Once happened laptop did not switch off (that circle on screen while you switching on and off win 10 was just turning until laptop went out of battery).

I've tried most of the usual solutions:
-Driver updated - manually and also through dell support assist
-Bios updated
-Laptop fan cleaned, CPU temperatures holding mostly up to 60 degrees
-Of course dell onboard diagnostics run without problems
-Most of the BIOS functions disabled
-GPU hybrid mode disabled

Do you have any suggestions what else to try before i start completelly disassembling it?
I suspect old intel 545s m.2 SSD (few times in my table PC it did not show in system after start but never had any other problem while loaded)
Also suspect only connected device while freezes happened - bluetooth mouse but this making no sense for me

Thank you very much for any advice!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You can try and disconnect from the wall, disassemble the laptop, disconnect the battery, remove the ram and press and hold own the power button for 30 seconds. While the rams are out, use an eraser to clean the gold contacts on the stick(s) of ram.

Wipe the gold contacts free off of eraser lint/debris and then reseat the ram. Without the battery, try and power up using the power brick.

Use DDU to remove all GPU(Intel, Nvidia and AMD) drivers, from your laptop then manually reinstall with the latest GPU driver from AMD's support site;
https://www.amd.com/en/support/prof...tforms/firepro-mobility-series/firepro-w5170m
in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

See if your Intel SSD is pending a firmware update.
