So I am trying to disable switchable graphics on my laptop (bios setting). The laptop comes default with like this gpu power saving feature where it will only use the AMD gpu when needing the gpu power to try and save battery life. Well I am trying to turn it off and its giving me problems. If i keep the AMD drivers installed while turning off switchable graphics, when I boot into windows 10 it will freeze up in about 10 seconds on the desktop. If I uninstall the AMD drivers and then turn of switchable graphics, when I boot into Windows its totally fine but no AMD driver is installed. I then tried installing the drivers and at about 28% (or when it says installing gpu driver) the system freezes up... So I am starting to think this is a driver related problem. The gpu is fully functional in switchable graphics mode. I have stress tested it and its working great! But I would really prefer to just use the AMD gpu at all times.
