It seems to be no way to install windows 10 on Dell m6700 directly. It is needed to install windows 7 first and then upgrade to windows 10. How do I override these procedures ? You can put a pre-installed windows 10 ssd/harddisk in a HP laptop and it will automatically change the settings/configuration and run it right away but this won't happen to Dell or at least to m6700. It doesn't even startup and the drive is seen to be unbootable. How to I fix this problem?

For the Win 10 install, following this, where does it fail?

And I've tried it with HP laptops, and it failed.
There is no universal "Yes, it works."
I tried at least a dozen HP, Dell and Lenovo laptops(direct install windows 10 or put a bootable drive in it), none of them failed me but m6700 is different. I just didn't know why. From my experiences, Dell is a little bit complicated.

I just didn't know why a bootable windows 10 ssd didn't bootup on m6700. Normally, It will bootup with error or frozen the computer. However, it says, "No boot drive found."(The drive information shown on startup screen)

Possibly the small boot partition lives on a different physical drive.
Which often happens when more than one drive is installed during an OS install.

But, dunno.....
