I want to upgrade my gpu from dell precision t3500 it has nvidia quadro 2000 now, so i think if Asus GeForce GTX 1050 OC does work in that mother board because it needs pci Express x16 3.0 and i dont now does my dell motherboard have that pci slot and does it even give enough power to that card.

Solution
PCIe 3.0 will work fine in these 2.0 slots. Very minimal loss of speed.

The T3500 came with 525w PSU and is more than enough power. They can handle power hogs like RX 480 gaming X cards, so GTX 1050 is a cinch.

The only drawback with the 525W is the single 6-pin connector, is the reason I asked. In case the OP wanted to go for more card in the future, I mean. Although the extra 8-pin CPU power connector can be used with a PCIe adapter. Either way yes, the T3500 has all the PSU one would ever need with today's power-sipping cards.

Fortunately the PCIe connector on these is supplied by it's own 18-amp rail. So it is able to provide well over 200-watts to the connector. Using an 8-pin adapter provides the extra two grounds needed.

Good thing is, these T3500 can accept standard ATX power supplies. A while back I put a 550w Seasonic G power supply in one along with a GTX 1070 the guy had. Works great.
