I recently bought a new psu for my Dell Precision T3500. The psu is a Corsair CS550M and I had to take the whole computer apart to install it.

Now when I turn it on some lights flash but ultimately lands on lights 1, 2, & 3 being lit (solid green) as well as the power (also solid green) and a solid orange light on the mobo then it beeps twice. There is no output on the monitor and it just stays like this.

I really don't know what's wrong.

Just in case anyone uses this thread for future reference, I thought you should know that the T3500 does NOT use a proprietary PSU. Just to confirm this, I threw an Antec 620 into the T3500 I use as a server and it fired right up. Not sure what issue the OP was having but I would be happy to help troubleshoot.

Edit- the new PSU does have to meet the EPS12v spec so I guess some will work and some won't.

@carver_g, Thanks! could you also tell me how it fits in the tower? Is the PSU (Antec) same dimensions as the one that already comes with it?

Please suggest which PSU will work for the Dell Precision T3500. Its PSU has permanently failed. Please suggest the make and model number so that I can install it in my CPU.sunildohare@gmail.com
