[SOLVED] Dell Precision T3600 motherboard able to run 1060 with 6 pin?

Solution
This spec sheet -- https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/precn/en/Dell-Precision-T3600-Spec-Sheet.pdf Says the motherboard needs a Xeon E5 CPU. It has the C600 chipset which is a Xeon chipset. The i7-4820K requires an X79 chipset. I don't find any obvious success using that CPU in that motherboard. The one thing I did find is that there are non-standard fan connectors on that motherboard. You may have to get adapter cables to use standard 3-4 pin fans.

I agree with the above. The T3600 is a little strange for a single CPU workstation. It uses Xeons only and RDIMM memory also. The PSU is proprietary so you're kind of stuck with what's there. There may have been 2 GPU versions sold with bigger PSUs.
Here are the builds for that at userbenchmark.com Just pick a CPU from there based on performance ranking.

The 1060 shouldn't be a problem I've run them off of Dell 375W PSUs.
Dell uses high powered industrial "server" fans. Most aftermarket parts would be a downgrade.
