Dell Precision T3600. New SSD with windows 10 installation. Everything boots just fine but the sleep mode and hibernate mode don't work. It just results in a shutdown. I tried turning fast boot off. but that doesn't do anything. Bios is updated to the latest version and in default settings.

Update: I tried changing bios power management settings but that doesn't seem to effect anything. It seems that the problem resides in the windows 10 installation where I can't use the sleep mode in any way, it always results in a shut down. I reinstalled windows 7 and that OS properly goes into sleep mode when I trigger it.
Some extra notes: I don't know if this will help but I originally had a lot of problems installing an OS because the system needed a driver for the SAS/sata connections that i had to get from dell. By loading the drivers during the OS installation I was able to get the OS to see attached drives and install the OS to one of them.

Solution
Well it looks like the issue was with the hybrid sleep mode in the power settings. Once I turned that off it allowed normal sleep mode functions whether it times out or I put it into sleep mode.

I tried messing with the bios power management settings and no combination seems to work. I dont think it is the bios since I have reinstalled windows 7 and that seems to allow me to sleep properly and not have it shut down in place of sleep mode. I have tried changing the sleep mode settings. Still results in the default functions to be shut down for sleep mode. I have even tried setting up the OS as UEFI or legacy. But windows 10 always doesn't have sleep functions.

I was on the most current bios A15 and i backtracked to A14, A13, A12 and A11. None of them seemed to have solved the problem. I had a spare drive with win 7 installed on it and the sleep mode for that OS was unaffected. I looked through the BIOS settings and there doesn't seem to be any different settings through each iteration.
