Hi All,

I have a question.

DELL R 730 xd dual NVME adapter question

As per the HW specs,it has 6 PCIE 3.0 slots.May I know,how many dual NVME adapters can be inserted on this 730 xd ?

Besides that,I do have 40 G NIC which is also goes to PCIE 3.0 slot.

Please advise.

2U servers have risers which provide the PCIe slots. Dell sells different versions of risers which provide different types of slots. So it will depend on what risers your specific host has.
It will also depend if you have 1 or 2 CPUs installed. The PCIe lanes for slots are allocated between the two CPU sockets.
