[SOLVED] Dell R620 Power Consumption

Hello,
I have a Dell R620 with the following configuration :
2x E5-2660v2
12x8g ddr3 12800
2x samsung 870 evo 500g SSD
2x psu
i want to run and create 8-15 VM on it by KVM ,
can anyone help me how much power it will consume ? i have same spec on HP DL360p G8 and it consume around 100-115W (average) but i do not know how much it will consume on Dell R620

There is no definite answer. It will depend on how busy the CPUs are. VMs consume specific amounts of RAM, but not a specific amount of CPU cycles.

But you have to know how busy the CPUs will be to get an accurate answer...

If you want to know, the best answer is to measure the usage. Get a power meter like this -- https://www.amazon.com/P3-P4400-Electricity-Usage-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU (US version, but there are EU versions also).
