Dell S2340Lc Monitor White Flashing

Hello there,
For the past few weeks, I have been using my Dell Monitor, S2340Lc, and it has worked fine. All of a sudden, I powered it on and it started flipping out. My screen became extremely white and started flashing. My screensaver was still visible in the background, but barely.

I have identified the problem as definitely being with the monitor as I have disconnected it from my computer and it still does the white screen, but with the "missing source" box being barely visible. If anyone knows how to fix this, any help would be great.

It might just be, well, broken. I have no idea on how to help you their. See if you have any warranties and if so then put them into action!

Thank you for your response. So I can't even access the menu. I press the button and it asks me what video input I should use. I select one or press back and it shuts off. It comes back on again but only to have more screen problems. A new one is that the screen flips out again with new lines down the middle.

how old is the monitor as some have 3yr warranties? does the monitor use a regular power cord or a power adapter?

It does not have any current warranties. And it uses an adapter

sounds like an issue with the main logic board in the monitor. could be a bad capacitor which is easily replaceable or a bad chip.
