I recently bought this monitor and i cannot set 144hz refresh rate.
Only way i can get 120hz is by manually setting through AMD driver custom resolution. But after that the image looks awful.
I'm using AMD r9 380x graphic card.
Any ideas?
btw have installed latest dell application and drivers and i'm using included cables.

Which cable exactly?

HDMI 1.4 should support 144hz, but I wouldn't count on it under all circumstances, would be the top end of the bandwidth.. Display port certainly will though.

I'm using included HDMI 1.4. and i don't have display port on my graphic card.
I just reinstalled my graphic driver and that fixed bad looking 120hz image.
Now i need to know how to get 144hz :)

Are you sure? Most R9-380X have one HDMI, one DP, and two DVI. Would be a very odd card to not have any.

It is possible it has Mini-DP, then you would just need a cable with Mini on one end and standard display port on the other.

Hello guys , i just got my dell s2419hgf. Try to go to monitor's settings and somewhere it says overclock , enable that and after that go to your graphics card settings and make a new res with 144hz .. thats all i know , also i wanted to ask why when i put my hz over 100-120 to 144 hz its being bad like you said . Are you sure by re installing the drivers that will fix ??
