DELL S2716DG horizontal lines-->what component to replace?

Hello:

This monitor started displaying horizonal lines about a week ago. They will stay until the power is completely removed for greater than 30 seconds. Right now.. they seem to be coming back after 2 or 3 days.

What component board is responsible for this behavior? What replacement part would i want to look into ordering?

My guess is the LCD itself, and in that case, it is usually a more financially sensible option to get a new monitor than replace the LCD.

Interesting. If the problem was the LCD, would the problem go away after removing power for 30 seconds? The screen then runs fine for a while. Is there a board that controls this screen ?
