i want to know is this a really good for gaming bc it has alot of mix reviews do u think it would be better to save up for an ips panel than tn bc i would get the dell but is tn that bad??

Solution
Get the dell. It has all the bells and whistles except for it being tn. However, this isn't no ordinary tn, this is an 8-bit tn panel which is higher in color accuracy than 6-bit tn's that people mostly complain about. Some reviews have even said that it's slightly worse than an ips, but not by much. Others say they can't even tell the difference.

So now that color accuracy is covered, what about viewing angles? Well, it still suffers from poor viewing angles, but unless you are putting 2 or 3 next to each other like a triple monitor setup, this shouldn't be a big deal. No smart person plays with the monitor sideways, everyone plays it front and center, so you shouldn't notice it much.

In conclusion, I highly suggest this monitor as...

yes i was looking at that before but i have a gtx 1070 and do u think the g sysnc in the dell would be better than no g sync but ips with the pixio

In conclusion, I highly suggest this monitor as it's the best bang for your buck monitor. Contains g-sync, 1440p, 144hz, ulmb, 1ms, it's tn(which we said in this scenario is like an ips), it has it all for under $500. I got mine for $480. Just get one for under $500, and you just made a great deal.

Oh and by the way, G-sync is much needed. I have the 1070 as well, and in games like witcher 3 or crysis, it reaches in the 50's but when it creeps into the 40's (as the minimum framerate), it makes it smooth. I would say g-sync is useful up to 60fps, and still somewhat useful from 60-90 fps. After 90, use ulmb.

So yea, even with a 1070, g-sync is much needed for those demanding AAA games. Unless you are getting above 90fps in every game(which isn't the case with a 1070 at 1440p), G-sync is a must. Hope that helps.

thank you im goign to get the dell soon but just want to know is there really pixel inversion with the dell or is it fix with the new models

also looking to buy this monitor, i dont sure what is pixel inversion, if i get you right, so this is occure only if you turn on "fast mode", but with "normal" no issuies.

Hey guys. So as of now, I don't notice any pixel inversion with my monitor. Now, I could've gotten lucky, but I haven't heard many complaints about this. I still have seen some though. Worst case scenario, you could return it and try again. It certainly beats the QC issues of Asus and Acer. The customer support I also think is better than Asus or Acer.

In other words, it could happen that you get problems with monitor, but with Asus and Acer, you are almost guranteed to return the monitor at least once. Secondly, the reason why normal mode is recommended over fast mode isn't due to pixel inversion, but rather ghosting. I notice this when scrolling through text in fast mode that it creates ghosting. However, when gaming, this shouldn't be a problem unless you have mouse sensitivity on high, and go crazy moving mouse in game.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have about the monitor since I already own it.
