Ever since I've been using the monitor from the moment I used it, I haven't had any sound from both built in and external speakers. Only the headset works.
  1. I have updated sound drivers
  2. I have installed the monitor's driver
  3. Both speakers pick up in the sound settings and the sound bar works so it indicates that it works
  4. Troubleshooting doesn't pick up that something is wrong and also doesn't fix it
  5. I'm using the hdmi cable that was included and I don't have another one.
  6. I do make sure that I have the right playback device selected.
  7. External speakers is the default playback device.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like the monitor has taken over the job of being the default playback device
on windows 10 rt click the speaker icon down by the time and select "Open Sound Settings" then select the correct output device for how your speakers are connected (Realtek HD?)
You could also click the "Manage Sound Devices" link on that same Sound page and then select from there.

The external speakers is already the default playback device.

Also the external speakers picks up as "Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)" and the headset as "Realtek HD Audio 2nd output (Realtek(R) Audio)" if that is any help
