Dell S2817Q Monitor Best settings?

Hello!

I recently upgraded from a 21 inch acer none HDMI monitor to the Dell S2817Q 28" 4k monitor.

I don't know much about settings when it comes to monitor, or which cable port should I be using for best display, was wondering if anyone has it or know about it, what are the best settings to get the most out of my gaming desktop?

if important, windows 10, GTX 1050 Ti.

BTW I hope you are not expecting to game at 4K with a 1050ti. You might be looking at 15 fps averages.
