I think Windows 8 has its place: Touch screen devices, where is very useful.
But it is contraproductive in a desktop enviroment as is at the moment.

The XPS 10 supports has a proprietary 40 pin connector supporting HDMI via adapter. Dell does not sell this adapter. Ergo - no HDMI or video out on the XPS 10.
