Dell studio 540 wires disconnected what goes where

Can 't tell you why 13 yo boys want to disassemble and reassemble things. Son has disconnect the majority of the pins in the Dell 540. Can someone explain to me in VERY simple terms what goes where?

Go to Dell's support site, put in your service number and download the manuals. See if one of them has a schematic.
