Hello all!

I just finished installing a Corsair Gaming Series GS800 non-modular power supply in my Dell Studio XPS 435MT.

However, she won't boot. I hit the button, and the fans whir up for a moment, then shuts off. Repeats until I unplug it.

Solid amber light on the mobo, know it ain't the PSU because I bought it three hours ago.

Help is appreciated!

I'm sorry for wasting your time! LOL!

I forgot to plug in the CPU power connection. I did that, and she fired up!

Sorry, y'all. Thanks for the help though! 🙂

Being you posted this well over a month ago, I would think you found your answer, but if you haven't , there are several good threads in here about this subject. I would remove power and remove the battery for 5 seconds. Once you plug everything back in let it sit with power for about 5 minutes before pressing the power button...worked for me. Do you have power going to the 8-Pin as well as the 24-Pin?

You missed, OP already posted that he forgot to plug in another power connector.
