Just bought this computer from best buy, turned it on with the original 350 watt power supply, everything went smooth. After taking out that power supply and re-plugging everything in, I come to find that Windows won't boot. It'll take me to the Windows Error Recovery page where I can choose to try and fix it or start up windows normally - both ends up with the computer freezing at a certain point and then shutting off.

This is also my first power supply exchange - I only unplugged and replugged in 5 cables. 2 on the motherboard (a big and a little one), the hard drive, the dvd drive, and the video card.

The power supply is a Corsair 650w power supply. What could I have done wrong, or what can i do to fix this?

Thanks in advance. (used the search function too, couldn't find anything ..)

lol. woke up, and the daylight helped me see that 2 of my memory cards were semi-unplugged. duh! pushed em in and now the 350 watt works fine. going to put back in the 650 watt and see what happens. thanks aford10, but were you referring to a laptop?
