Dell t3500 Ram upgrade

So i have a Dell Precision T3500 with the configuration :
Cpu : Xeon W3565
Gpu : gtx 1050 ti 4gb
Ram : 4gb (2x2gb dual channel that i want to replace)
motherboard model (dell) : 09KPNV

The RAM in there is DDR3 correct?

If so....then I think it should work.

I believe that is a triple channel motherboard - you should install RAM in multiples of 3 (either 3 sticks or 6 sticks) for best memory performance.

Go to a ram vendor web site such as Kingston, crucial or corsair.
Access their ram upgrade advisor app.
Enter your product make/model and you should get a list of supported upgrade kits.
Buy one of those if you can.
Otherwise, look for a kit with the exact same specs of type/speed/voltage/cas.

You should get 3x4GB DDR3 1333 UDIMM low density RAM. It does support ECC. The memory controller is on the CPU so it will run at 1066 speed with that CPU, but will be able to run at 1333 if you install a higher end CPU like some of the XEONs that run in those.
