Question Dell T3610 BIOS Recovery ?

Converted drive from MBR to GPT using Microsoft utility (mbr2gpt). Now can't get past the Dell logo on boot. Replaced the CMOS battery, reset the NVRAM. Now after the Dell logo I just get a blinking cursor in the top left. There's info out there on recovering the bios, but how to get the file to put on a USB stick? Dell has lots of updates, but not BIOS.EXE. Nor does another working UEFI T3610. Can't just put a Dell bios update exe file (renamed) on the stick. Could be simple, or fatal. Ideas?

so it can't boot because you change to GPT?

It doesn't even get through POST, just a blinking cursor after the Dell logo. Lights 1 2 3.

blinking cursor sound like it can't boot from the hdd.
did you press the key to get into bios?
or unplug the hdd

Can't get into the BIOS, even with the HD removed or another good HD in. It doesn't get through POST. F2 just says preparing to go into setup, then a blinking cursor. F12 says preparing boot devices, then just a blinking cursor. I think lights 1 2 3 mean corrupt BIOS. There's information out there about a BIOS recovery, where you out a file on a usb stick, and to get "the file" from the Dell drivers. Can't find it.

if the bios is corrupted, you can't just update it, need to get a reprogrammer

And how does one go about that? I manage over 75 Dells (various models, laptop, desktop to server) and have never run into this.
