I have a Dell T7400 workstation and my wife is threatening to replace it because it's so old.

The specs say it should be fast enough except for maybe the video card as far as I can tell. I'd like the thoughts of the community on if I should upgrade the video card or replace the entire system.

Your thoughts?

It would certainly suffice but 2 cores just isn't enough for some games like GTA5 or FarCry4 even on low settings. If the motherboard support a 4-core Xeon you could replace both the CPU and GPU and it would once again be a solid machine. Adding an SSD would make it run like new outside of gaming too. Depending on how much you can find an older quad core xeon for it might just make more sense to buy a new system consisting of an i5 or something.
