Doesnt LED backlighting have other benefits over LCD, like less bleeding and higher contrast ratios?

Dell is showing green way to competition. New Dell Studio Hybrid consumes 70% less than ordinary desktop PC. Good to see, that LED technology gets boost from Dell and gets cheaper because of volumes.
